Mission Statement
Scholar School LLC is a tutoring and educational services company that aims to help scholars improve in their reading skills, math skills, social emotional skills, and overall mindset of themselves and their learning. I aim to first, reach your child THEN teach your child. Meeting your child at their level and including their interests allows me to be able to push them to be their best. Your scholar deserves to not only learn but have fun doing it!
Vision Statement
“A child saved, is a soul saved, plus a life”. When we invest in our children, we are investing in our future. In order to build tomorrow’s leaders, innovators, creators, teachers, doctors, singers, artists, explorers, discoverers, etc we must invest in today’s youth. When investing in one child you are able to positively impact their life but the life of another who is connected to that child.
Meet Our Founder!
Demetria Monique Poe, Ph.D. Scholar. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is the oldest of 16 children. She was raised by her grandparents, who instilled in her the importance of having faith in Yahweh and Yeshua. In 2013, she graduated from Rufus King IB High School in Milwaukee. She then attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. In 2017, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in both early childhood education and elementary education with a minor in childhood psychology. In 2018, she returned to the U of MN to receive her M.Ed in early childhood elementary and received a teaching license in early childhood and elementary education. She is currently studying at the U of MN to receive a Ph.D. in educational policy and leadership. She uses her faith and belief in Yahweh to create opportunities for every scholar she meets to grow and is thankful to him for placing this book on her heart. Teaching is her ultimate passion, and as a first-time author used the chance to reach even more scholars all over the country.
